Iain Boyd

For Iain, food-related revelations (first soupe de poissons, Menton, 1976) have been among the most memorable points in his life. He grows vegetables and fruit at home in Kent, rears chickens and rare breed pigs.

He hopes that the appreciation of fresh ingredients and the qualities of unadulterated food will be one of the more useful things he can pass on to his children.

Iain is also Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, founded by William Morris in 1877.
